Maria Elena Maurin (Actress) is honored to be working with the Rhinebeck Theatre Society on this production. Her recent theater credits include: Arms and the Man, Still, Outside Mullingar and Brilliant Traces with the Performing Arts of Woodstock and A Turn of The Screw with Kaaterskill Actors Theater. Film credits include: The Moment (Aakshay Parab), No Pay, Nudity (Waistband Entertainment), Art of Love (TAL Entertainment), and Five Census (West End Films). She has trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC and at the Sande Shurin Acting Studio, NYC and Woodstock, NY. Webseries: Tabs & Clea.

Ellen Honig (Director) has 35 years of directing experience, and has directed many productions for the Rhinebeck Theatre Society. The most recent are: 1776 ,The Musical, A Little Night Music, Equivocation, Assassins, Copenhagen, and Mary Poppins, all performed at The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck. For Cocoon Theatre of Poughkeepsie, Honig's directing credits include: Antigone, The Skin of Our Teeth, A Man for All Seasons, My Simone and The Little Years. For Performing Arts of Woodstock, she directed Outside Mullingar in 2017, Uncle Vanya in 2018, and Arms and the Man in 2019.

When a senseless act of violence changes her life forever, a college professor finds herself inexplicably drawn to the very weapon used to perpetrate the crime – and to the irresistible feeling of power that comes from holding life and death in her hands.
